Who we are
CORA Bookkeeping ("we", "us", "our") is an ecommerce bookkeeping service based in Melbourne, Australia. We operate this website and provide bookkeeping services to online retailers in Australia and New Zealand.
What information we collect
We only collect information you give us directly through the discovery-call enquiry form on this site. Specifically:
- Your first and last name
- Your work email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to share it
- The name of your business and, optionally, its website
- Your approximate monthly revenue, ecommerce platform, and accounting software
- Anything you write in the message field
- The page you submitted from, and the IP address your request came from
Why we collect it
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry and assess whether we are a good fit to work together. That means:
- Replying to your enquiry by email
- Scheduling a discovery call, if you ask for one
- Preparing a quote or scope, if the conversation goes that way
- Keeping records as required for tax and business purposes
We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with anyone for marketing purposes.
Who processes your data on our behalf
Your enquiry data is stored and processed by a small number of trusted service providers, each subject to their own privacy practices:
- Database hosting — Supabase (servers located in Sydney) stores the lead records.
- Email delivery — Resend handles the admin notification and your confirmation email.
- Website hosting — Vercel (servers located in Sydney) runs the website and the server-side code that processes your submission.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry records for as long as we reasonably need to follow up with you, and for any record-keeping period required under Australian law. If you would like us to delete your record sooner, email us at the address below and we will do so within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it if anything is wrong
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw your consent to us using it, at any time
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your information

Cookies and tracking
We do not use analytics cookies or any third-party tracking on this site. Your browser may store a small session cookie if you log into the admin area, but no analytics, advertising, or fingerprinting trackers are loaded for visitors.
Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and the adults who run them. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be at this URL. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for at least 30 days after publication.
